An unglazed pot for salt so that moisture can escape throughout the porous pot. In other words, "a pot that breathes". Salt is thus kept dry and not sticky and clumpy.
 
Process of making: Stoneware clay is thrown on the electric wheel, painted with coloured slip and fired at high heat.
